Celebrity Tattoos
Celebrity Tattoos are so common that it is difficult to know where to begin. From Mike Tyson with his Maori tribal tattoos designed inspiration to Angelina Jolie with more different styles and tattoo options than most other celebrity tattoos being worn out in public that it is difficult to know where to start. Whether it is the celebrity or the tattoo that is more famous, tattoos do indeed make their presence known among the Hollywood elite. The thing is, you just never know which celebrity tattoos are going to make the front page of the paparazzi hit list next.
David Beckham has a number of tattoos from wrist tattoos all the way to his shoulder tattoos (and they meet somewhere in the middle) and he has been known to celebrate victories … including his marriage and the birth of his three sons with new celebrity tattoos fashioned especially for him. Of course, not all celebrity tattoos are permanent. Jake Gyllenhall appeared on a television show with a Steelers lower back tattoo only to reveal later on that it was a fake tattoo and was only there for filming purposes. Celebrity tattoos can be just as famous as some of the people who wear them are and many a conversation has been started due to celebrity ink. Kate Perry has a thing for foot tattoos it seems and her celebrity tattoo caused something of an uproar when she posted pictures of it on her twitter account.
Hayden Panettiere caused quite a stir with her Celebrity tattoos. It seems that one of her Italian tattoos was actually misspelled. Now we could understand that under normal circumstances but when you have an Italian tattoo put on someone with an Italian name, you would think that they would get the spelling correct. And to think, her tattoo was not nearly as complicated as some of the Asian tattoos. Her tattoo was a simple sentence written in longhand along her right rib cage. Talk about awkward displays of … something. Not all celebrity tattoos reflect so poorly on the celebrity or the tattoo artists though. Many of these celebrity tattoos are actually very nice tattoo designs.
Megan Fox did a good job proving that not all butterfly tattoos are created equal with her somewhat humorous outlook tattooed on her right shoulder blade that boldly proclaims that “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies”. Celebrity Tattoos like that certainly deserve some credit for originality even if they are not the most decorative tattoos around. Nicki Hilton sports an impressive Celtic Cross on the back of her neck for her contribution to celebrity tattoos. Some stars do take a little different approach and Travis Barker has what appears to be fairy tattoos in his pants … something we did not really want to take too close a look at but still among the most notable of celebrity tattoos we have seen in a while. Celebrity tattoos may not make the person famous but the person can certainly make the tattoo famous given a little publicity and a little bit of tattoo display.
