Fish Tattoos

When it comes down to fish tattoos it has to be said that there are a lot of very beautiful and very varied tattoo designs out there, both in style and meaning. Koi fish tattoos could be considered to some extent carp tattoos since the koi is a species of carp however thanks to the fact that it’s been specially breed from ancient times koi tattoos tend to be incredibly striking, much more-so than what one might expect from a the more traditional tattoo pictures.

Koi tattoos have a very large number of symbols associated to them individually, representing characteristics that range from courage to non-conformity with many others in between. Koi fish tattoos normally tend to be rather large affairs of stunning beauty because of the powerful array of colors that they use, however this does mean that they require quite the commitment to be worn and to be shown off to others. This is partly the reason why mostly men choose these types of fish tattoos but women aren’t far behind being able to combine the various symbolistic nature of the koi with lower back tattoos in a successful manner.
