Flames Tattoos
Flames Tattoos are often used to highlight and enhance other tattoos and bring a little life and motion to them. Pictures of tattoos with flames in them are very common and the flames tattoos work just about anywhere that you want to use them. Phoenix Tattoos with the phoenix rising up out of the ashes are often drawn instead with flames. Tattoos like that are very common but no matter what type of ink you are sporting, flames tattoos may make them just a little bit better.
Skull tattoos with flames tattoos coming out of the base, coming out of the eyes and maybe even flame snorting out the location where the nose once went are always popular tattoo designs. Tribal arm tattoos often used flames tattoos to help enhance their appearance and even to add to the fear their tattoo decorations would create among their enemies. These tribal tattoos were sometimes arm tattoos and sometimes lower back tattoos or chest tattoos if more room was needed but many of the ancient native cultural tattoos were painted or drawn with flames tattoos as well.
You probably will not find a lot of flames tattoos in the girl tattoos or the fairy tattoos or other small tattoos on the wrist, ankle or in other areas but they do exist. Browsing through the tattoo flash gallery will give you an idea of what types of flames tattoos are among the more popular tattoo designs for the smaller tattoos. Still, most of the flames tattoos are used to highlight or to bring out a larger tattoo that is placed somewhere more open or exposed.
Flames tattoos are also very popular options for racing fans, motorcycle enthusiasts as well as other people who may dream about getting out and “burning up” some open road. For many of these people, the flames tattoos symbolize their freedom and perhaps even their ability to get away from it all while the world burns around them. The flame tattoos are also very common among many of the winged tattoos.
Unlike the Phoenix tattoos, many land-based animal tattoos are highlighted with the flames tattoos but the symbolism of tattoos like this is difficult to define in a narrow term as so many people have different ideas behind what the flame tattoos and the fire actually represent. The flames tattoos can represent everything from oppression to freedom and in reality, the real ultimate expression of the flames tattoos are between the tattoo artist and the person getting their tattoo.
